Raytheon – Founded in 1922, it is a very significant defense contractor in the US, and is also the foremost producer of guided missiles throughout the world. Maglev is actually an abbreviation given for the words Magnetic Levitated. Maglev train is a form of transportation which propels using the concept of electromagnetic field created by electrified coils. This Maglev train will float roughly about 10 mm to 12 mm above the magnetic field and it is pulled by the magnetic switches and propelled by a linear induction motor.
Its operation was officially launched in year 1984 in England. Initially, it is able to run at a speed of 42 km/h and by the year 2003, it can achieve a maximum speed of 581 km/h.
