Group Tours To China

Published: Mar 25th, 2010 | Author: bebhe Add Comment

You can now experience China’s stunning sights and rich culture, with like-minded travellers. We offer an exciting range of 10 group tours to China, with typically between 8 and 20 passenger all escorted by an English speaking tour leader. From 7-days to 15-days these China tours are ideal for an enjoyable, fun and relaxed visit to this beautiful country.  Carefully planned itineraries commencing in Beijing or Shanghai offer fantastic highlights, great hotels and many value-added inclusions. Accommodation is at 3 and 4 star well managed, centrally located hotels. From Harbin in the north within a stone’s throw from Inner Mongolia, to Tibet in the west and Hong Kong in the south-east, we’ve got China covered!

Our most popular China tour for a first time visit is our 9-day Great Wall & Warrior tour. Starting in the capital Beijing you can explore Tiananmen Square, the largest public square in the world, which plays host to Chairman Mao’s great mausoleum. Staring out across Tiananmen from above the Gate of Heavenly Peace is the famous Technicolour portrait of Mao. It is through these gates that one can enter the Forbidden City. Built between 1406 and 1420, it served as the imperial palace for the Ming and Qing dynasties and is said to contain 9999 rooms. No visit on a China tour to Beijing is complete without a drive to the Great Wall of China! Snaking some 6700 kms across barren hills, deserts, mountains and plateaus, the now partially ruinous Great Wall stretches east to west in northern China and is believed to be the longest man made structure in the world. Today, people from all over the world visit to walk on the Great Wall of China, stand on a watchtower and view the wall, winding as far as the eye can see, over the horizon. The Badaling section is perhaps the best preserved and most frequently visited by tourists. (more…)

Choosing The Best Cruise Travel Deals

Published: Mar 23rd, 2010 | Author: bebhe Add Comment

If there is everyday stress in life, there are multiple ways to reinvigorate mind, body and soul. What better an option can be than to be able to get away from everyday traffic, routine job responsibilities, managing household and attending to the numerous phone calls for a few days to absolute luxury and enforced idleness of a cruise expedition. Come, feel like a celebrity on a celebrity cruise line or like a sailor on an expedition cruise.

Choosing a cruise liner

Choosing a good cruise liner is largely facilitated by choosing a cruise travel partner carefully. The website of the company chosen should be able to offer deals across varied cruise liners. It should preferably provide flexible payment plans and should also be able to help you in the decision making process. A travel partner that offers dedicated agents to organize the entire trip will aid you with single point of contact for all assistances. Furthermore, the travel partner should help you foresee where exactly you’ll be sailing and what the weather conditions will be like. After all, a perfect trip begins with a perfectly laid plan. Beware Of Travelling With P & O

Published: Mar 22nd, 2010 | Author: bebhe Add Comment

This is an update about my 2 prior article postings in relation to a P & O cruise I took with Pacific Dawn, which sailed from Brisbane to Tasmania on the 30/1/2010. I have still had no response to my emailled complaints. I forwarded the email to the Carnival Australia Customer Relations on the 16th February where an automatic response came back to say it could be at least 20 working days before you receive a reply. You would think that after all the complaints they had about this cruise, even while we were on board, that the company would have doubled their efforts to appease some of the passengers anger by quickly responding. Yet again another sign of a not well run travel company business.

I would assume the reason for the delay is that the company has so many complaints to handle they can not keep up with the load. Suggestion…………… change your attitude and learn some basic principles from a few better run cruising companies. Go and be skilled in the art of this industry and how the decisions made by your company can impact favourably & devastatingly on passengers. (more…)
