Barcelona's Top Hostels

Barcelona is a great place to visit for a city break, but this can work out quite expensive after you’ve paid for flights, accommodation and spending money! But it doesn’t need to be expensive if you stay in hostels rather than hotels, I’ve put together what I think are the top 2 hostels in Barcelona which are just as good as staying in hotels but don’t have to break the bank!

The first hostel is one of Barcelona’s newest additions, it’s called, Barcelona Urbany Hostel. This hostel is located in one of the more modern parts of Barcelona, Avinguda Meridiana, which is only a couple of metro stops away from Las Ramblas. The best bit of this hostel is the facilities it offers which includes an indoor pool, sauna and Jacuzzi – and the best bit is that they are all free to guests! Some of the other things the Urbany hostel offers is free breakfast, free internet connection and a roof terrace which is a great place to see the views of Barcelona. All the rooms have their own ensuite and they range from 1 bed to 8 bed, as in most hostels you have the choice to sleep in a mixed dorm or your own private dorm. Private rooms are more expensive but are still cheaper than hotels! (more…)
